Nightingale Behavioral Health’s mission to serve Kentucky stems from Rebekah Easton-Hogg’s rural upbringing in Napoleon, Kentucky. She earned a degree in Women and Gender Studies from Berea College and spent years advocating in the Fayette County Court system for domestic violence survivors. Her passion for professional and compassionate psychiatric care is deeply rooted in the cases she saw every day.

Today, Rebekah is double-board certified as a nurse practitioner in psychiatry and primary care. She provides comprehensive care to Kentuckians and works with patients of all ages, including pediatric patients.

Rebekah’s Specialties include:

  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
    • ADHD affects a person’s ability to focus, making it difficult to complete everyday tasks. Talk with Rebekah about early diagnosis and treatment, which offers the best success for positive long-term health and wellness.
  • Bipolar Disorder
    • People with Bipolar Disorder typically experience extreme mood swings that often affect their relationships and careers. From diagnosis to medication management and individual therapy, Rebekah can help guide you every step of the way.
  • Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder
    • OCD affects a person’s ability to complete everyday tasks because of unwanted thoughts and the need to perform certain activities, like cleaning or counting. Like many psychiatric disorders, Rebekah can help you manage OCD through medication and individual therapy.
  • Anxiety & Panic
    • Anxiety can be a normal reaction to everyday stressors. Still, many people find themselves feeling anxious even when they aren’t in a threatening situation and are unable to control their anxiety response. Rebekah treats people with anxiety and those who suffer panic attacks, helping them identify triggers and develop positive coping techniques.
  • Major Depressive Disorder
    • Someone with MDD will typically experience feelings of sadness, hopelessness, and sleep disturbances that last for more than two weeks. Rebekah can help you get to the root of your depression and ultimately take positive steps toward healing. Those steps may include talk therapy and medications.
  • Tapering Xanax Usage
    • If you are seeking support in reducing your dependence on medications such as Xanax, Rebekah may be able to assist you. She can work collaboratively with you, if appropriate, to develop a tailored plan for gradually weaning from Xanax.
